Volunteer/Intake

At Finding H.O.P.E. Children’s Home, we rely on the dedication of compassionate volunteers and the partnership of social workers and agencies to keep families together and provide young mothers with the care they deserve. This page provides two ways to connect with us: one for those interested in volunteering their time and talents once we are up and running, and one for referrals and intake requests for pregnant and parenting youth.

💙 Volunteer With Us

Volunteers play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and empowering environment for the young mothers and children in our care. From tutoring and mentoring to helping with meals, childcare, and special events, every volunteer makes a difference.

👉 If you would like to get involved, please complete the Volunteer Form below. Our team will review your request and contact you with next steps, including training and background check requirements.

Finding H.O.P.E. Children’s Home accepts referrals from foster care social workers for pregnant and parenting youth in the custody of the State of Alabama. Our program is designed to provide trauma-informed housing, education, and support services that allow young mothers and their children to remain together while building a path to independence.

We consider referrals for:

Pregnant or parenting youth ages 13–21 in foster care

Young mothers requiring safe housing, case management, and parenting support

Residents who can benefit from education, counseling, and independent living preparation

👉 To refer a youth for placement consideration, please complete the Intake Form below. Our staff will follow up with you to discuss availability, next steps, and required documentation.
